At the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship, 4225 NW 34th Street, Gainesville FL 32605

This health fair is dedicated to holistic, natural health! It encompasses physical, mental, emotional and spiritual well-being. The fair will begin at 10:00 am and continue to 5:00 pm. The first hour features $5 sessions with practitioners.

A wide array of practitioners of natural and alternative healing methods will be available to answer your questions about their healing methods, and many will offer a sample trial of their work, a fantastic deal at only $20. The first hour, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am, practitioners will provide sample sessions for only $5 for 15 minutes!

Holistic practitioners will include massage therapists, acupuncturists, nutritional therapists, midwives, sound healers, Reiki Masters, psychic counselors, and more.

Families will find a friendly environment, healthy food, and a unique children’s program. Information on vaccine safety and child-friendly practitioners will be available at the fair.

This event will be enlivened by artists, musicians, performers and craftspeople whose work supports holistic health.

Demonstrations such as of Tai Chi, Chi Gong, and Fencing will take place outdoors.

Free workshops on practical home remedies and empowering ways to maintain and improve your health will be ongoing throughout the day.

Expert activist citizens will be present to discuss important environmental health issues affecting our area.

There will be organic, nourishing traditional food for sale, as well as farmers and artisans offering grass-fed and sustainable products.

Proceeds from the Gainesville Holistic Health Fair will go to Three Aunties, a nonprofit organization dedicated to nurturing healthy relationships between people and their natural environment.

Mission of Three Aunties

Three Aunties nonprofit: Environmental Education, Awareness, Empowerment, and a Spiritual Connection With Nature.

The threefold mission of Three Aunties is this:

1. To garner material support for, set up, enrich, manage, monitor, and expand biodiversity preserves that also serve the interest of people;

2. To provide programs, activities, conferences, ceremonies, events and educational materials connecting people with natural history, ecology, environmental health, and alternative healing;

3. To nurture healthy relationships between people and their natural environment by providing opportunities for interactive experiences, conducting scientific research, and disseminating information on natural systems, cycles, interactions and interdependence.

These services, opportunities, and information sources serve the general public by facilitating improved public health and quality of life through changing how people do things as a result of improved environmental awareness and a spiritual connection with nature.
